Wednesday brought several games from the last phase of the Romanian Cup groups. The teams from Group D qualified for the quarters have been decided, and the University of Craiova leaves the competition.

FC Argeș – Universitatea Craiova 2-1, in Group D of the Romanian Cup
FC Argeș managed to defeat Craiova University, after the Oltenians took the lead with the goal scored by Screciu in the 55th minute. The Pitesti team reversed the result with the goals of Bertrand in the 64th minute and Tofan in the 69th minute, thus obtaining second place and qualifying for the quarterfinals.
FC Hermannstadt – Chindia Târgoviște 4-1, in Group D of the Romanian Cup
Hermannstadt opened the scoring quickly, through Buhăcianu in the 3rd minute, until the break managing to score again through Babic in the 13th minute and Iancu in the 32nd minute. Chindia reduced the difference in the 18th minute through Jipa. The final score was established by Babic in the 49th minute, and the Sibiu team moved on from first place in the group.
CS Ocna Mureș – FCM Baia Mare 0-6, in Group D of the Romanian Cup
In a match without qualification stake, Ocna Mureș lost without right of appeal in the dispute with Baia Mare. The students coached by Mihai Iosif scored through Chitas (23), Muacir (46), Donca from the penalty (51), Rotar (71), Stanescu (85) and Lazăr (89).
